ROUTE
The Thumbs Up Bike Tour is suited for all bicyclists, with updated, more biker-friendly routes of 15, 30, 60 + 100 miles. The various routes include options of biking along beautiful Lake Michigan as well as parts of scenic Door County. There is a ½ mile section of gravel road on the 100-mile route. The ride starts at the Casco Village Park. This is a rain or shine event. The tour is at your own pace and not timed. Packet pickup will start at 6:15 am and is only available day of the event.

The 'ride' start times are set as a guideline for the bikers to finish in a time frame that is ideal for the post-ride activities at the park.  While 7:00 am is the earliest start time we offer [to ensure we have our aid stations set up and staffed], for the 60, 30 and 15-mile riders, if you prefer to start your ride earlier than the time that is posted for your group, please feel free to do so.

Routes will be marked and support vehicles will be available to assist riders. Rest stops with food, beverages, and technical support are spaced throughout each route.

 

 

CAUSE
The Vision of the Andy Nowak Foundation is to ‘Better the Lives of Many in Need’. All proceeds will be donated, in part to Children’s Cancer Research Fund of Minneapolis MN with the remaining funds being gifted to local families and organizations in need.

Check-in starts at 6:15 AM

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION… $45 Please have early bird registration postmarked no later than June 10th

WHAT'S INCLUDED…
A t-shirt, goody bag, a ride with multiple aid stations, with various snacks and beverages. There will also be a meal provided at the finish line, with a meal ticket for all bicyclists. 

• All bikers will receive a t-shirt.  Those bikers who pre-register will receive their t-shirt on the day of the event.  

• For those bikers who register the day of the event, you will receive a t-shirt [based on the availability of your size] or if not available, a t-shirt will be ordered for you.  Once available, you can make arrangements to pick up the t-shirt or it can be shipped to you [$5.00 for postage, payable with registration the day of the event].
